I’ve tried all the airplane pillow products out there and this is by FAR the best I’ve found! All the others make me hot and sweaty and don’t quite hit on the seat where I need them too (I’m 5′4″), but the Dogbone rocks! It’s a little bulky to travel with, but I velcro it to my carryon and that works well. I’d MUCH rather put up with some bulk than put up with all the other pillows I’ve tried previous to this, including the easy-to-pack inflatables. It’s sooooo easy to pop in the washer, too. HIGHLY recommended!

I can’t say enough good things about this pillow! It gently cradles your head, allowing you to sleep peacefully. No more tossing and turning!! Now I don’t wake up with a “crick” in my neck or with back pain. I don’t know why it works…but I’m certainly a convert to DogBones Neck Pillows! A bonus: They can also be machine washed and dried!

…until I got this pillow. Besides the arthritis in my neck, there is an undiagnosed problem. Living with chronic pain is bad, and New England winters don’t help. I bought this pillow during the December sale, with credit I’d gotten from my Amazon Visa points. Let me tell you: even on a limited budget, this pillow would have been worth a cash expense. My neck still hurts but it’s NOT WORSE WHEN I WAKE UP (which is quite often).

I blogged about it and a friend added TWO to his wish list. I love the relief from the Dogbones Chiropractic pillow so much that I bought him one from his wishlist. I’m going to suggest that my internist and pain doctor recommend these, and I’ll suggest that my chiropractor carry them. Any decrease in pain, at this point, is AMAZING, and I’m waking up happier. I wish I’d gotten this product sooner.

I lost my original Dogbone pillow while traveling so I bought this one and a blue one. They are great for people suffering from spinal stenosis because they keep your neck straighter. Being flared at the ends helps to keep your head more stable. The soft but firm padding is very comfortable. They’re easy to keep clean. Just toss in the washer/dryer with other clothes. I can’t live without one of these!

I use this every night … it offers fantastic neck support. It’s perfectly shaped to support the neck while sleeping on your back. I am definitely picking up a few more. It breathes, unlike memory foam, so you don’t sweat all night. This pillow is the best!

I took this pillow with me on my 16 hour flight to New Zealand and 2 weeks driving around the country. All I can say is this pillow rocks my socks. It is not confining like a U-shaped pillow, where your head is locked in one position. This pillow lets you lean which ever way you want but at the same time supports your neck and keeps your head from flopping around. I let my friends use the pillow to nap as we were driving through a mountain pass and they raved about how their head never slid around even as we were driving through windy roads. Definite must buy if you travel a lot.

As a physical therapist who suffers from neck pain, this is the ONLY pillow that I can use without waking up to having cervical muscle spasms in the mornings. This pillow is great for people who do not have the normal curvature of the cervical spine a.k.a.– straight necks (cervical arthritis etc).
I bought one 3 years ago at CVS & have been looking for a year now for a replacement since mine cannot support my neck very well anymore. It has been a week that I have been waking up to neck spasms & I am delighted to find that it is here at Amazon. It was here all along, I just have been typing in the wrong name– cervical pillow, cervical roll, neck roll etc…. I am happy that I remembered what my 5 year old son called it– BONE, typed it, and boy was he right.

I have posted a photo of this pillow strung to my Morris chair. Note the beautiful kitty who’s only 9 months old…you don’t get one of these when you order a pillow ;o)

I now own 3 of these: 2 small & 1 large. The large one is great for lounging on the floor to read (in front of the fireplace is my top spot). I use one of the small ones in bed for support while reading or watching DVDs. The other I attached to my Morris chair so that it never needs to be adjusted (I get up and down from my chair a lot & now I sit right back down & the pillow is already at the perfect level). I love them & will get a few more for gifts.

We love this product! We didn’t think we’d need to use it so soon, but at one week old we discovered that our son could already roll. So we have been using it to keep him positioned. We also discovered an added bonus. At two weeks our son was already too active to stay swaddled. But we discovered that using this helped him to almost feel held. When he dirtied the positioner one night, and he had to sleep without it, he didn’t sleep well at all. He was very fussy and needed to be held. So we washed it right away in the middle of the night (machine washable!!) and sure enough, as soon as he was back in it, he fell right to sleep. He’s now 8 weeks old and has been sleeping through the night for 2 weeks. This is the best thing we have bought for our baby. Just remember- get two in case one gets dirtied in the middle of the night!

I have been using this positioner since day one. At first, our baby wouldn’t sleep on her back so this helped her sleep on her side (NOT the intended use for this and against the doctor’s recommendation, I know!). Within a few weeks though, she was on her back and this was great. When swaddled, it kept her bundled up. Once she grew out of the swaddle, this was key because we have a video monitor and without this she would squirm out of the camera’s view. Also, when we took her to my in-laws and forgot it, I felt SO nervous and uncomfortable because she kept turning in the crib towards the bumper. It made me so nervous I almost drove back home to get it! A must have.
